The ML Platform team builds and maintains the core infrastructure and tools that enable DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp product teams to build, deploy, and monitor ML models at scale. DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp's mission is to democratize ML at DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp and empower product teams to build intelligent features that enhance user experience across all DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp's product offerings.

You will play a key role in building out a unified ML Platform, including model training, serving, and monitoring systems. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of machine learning at DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp and have a direct impact on the success of DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp's product teams and customers.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust ML infrastructure for model training, serving, and monitoring.
• Build and optimize MLOps tools to streamline the ML lifecycle, from experimentation to production deployment.
• Collaborate with product teams to understand their ML needs and provide solutions that accelerate their development.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and strategy of the ML Platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
• Promote best practices for ML development, including model versioning, reproducibility, and explainability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ML technologies and incorporate them into DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp's platform.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on machine learning or distributed systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python (or similar language relevant for ML).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Vertex AI).
• Experience with distributed systems and data processing technologies (e.g., Spark, Flink, Kafka).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.

A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $170,000 to $260,000. The final salary will be negotiated and determined by a number of factors that include the applicant’s skills, experience, and relevant education or certifications. In addition to base salary, DRC Dansk Flygtningehjælp employees are eligible for equity, 401k with company match, medical and dental benefits, and a suite of other perks and benefits.
