NKT Photonics A/S is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join NKT Photonics A/S's dynamic team. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that provide seamless user experiences.
This is a full-time position based in NKT Photonics A/S's London office.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, participating in code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical growth.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
- Expertise with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, Hooks).
- Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques and SEO principles.
