About The Role and Responsibilities
As Senior Member of Operations, you will be taking over the day-to-day responsibilities from the Director of Operations. You will grow to be someone he can rely on, with the ambition of becoming a core member of Teton.
You will proactively take burdens away and run with them. You will find bottlenecks in the company and all the places where things get lost between teams.
You will work across the full operating layer of Teton. Your job is to continuously focus on the biggest lever for achieving increasingly better outcomes.
Who Teton Is Looking For
Teton is looking for someone who can operate within ambiguity and has overcome it.
You might have been a founder, Chief of Staff, Head of Operations, or the person people trusted when the work was unclear.
You will have experienced hypergrowth, and you will know the challenges it bring.
You will know that it means a full focus on execution every day, and focusing on achieving outcomes (as opposed to just following process). It also means balancing the pragmatic with the perfect.

- It will not work if your motivation is being the manager.
- It will not work if you are too good for certain tasks.
- It will not work if you are afraid of making mistakes.
- It will not work if you cannot discuss candidly.
- It will not work if you only want strategy.
What Good Looks Like
- You understand how Teton actually works and why it is a challenging business to scale.
- You understand the role is not given, but earned through continued excellence.
- You can show a clear track record of having done extremely hard things.
- You understand why it is a difficult role and still want to take it on.
- You understand requirements are to be questioned.
- You understand the work is unglamorous.
