PIPPALI INDIAN GRILL ApS is looking for a skilled and reliable cook with experience in North Indian cuisine to join PIPPPALI INDIAN GRILL ApS's kitchen team.
As PIPPPALI INDIAN GRILL ApS's new cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking Indian dishes, especially North Indian specialities such as curries, tandoori dishes, marinades, sauces, biryani, and traditional vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. You will help ensure that PIPPPALI INDIAN GRILL ApS's food is prepared consistently, hygienically, and to a high standard.
Your main tasks will include:
- Preparing and cooking authentic North Indian dishes.
- Preparing marinades, sauces, curries, and spice mixes.
- Working with tandoor, grill, and traditional Indian cooking techniques.
- Ensuring good food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintaining hygiene and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Helping with daily kitchen preparation and cleaning.
- Cooperating with the rest of the kitchen and restaurant team.
PIPPALI INDIAN GRILL ApS expects that you:
- Have relevant culinary education or equivalent, documented professional experience as a cook.
- Have experience with North Indian cuisine, preferably from an Indian restaurant kitchen.
- Have strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, marinades, and traditional cooking methods.
- Can prepare North Indian dishes independently and consistently.
- Can work with tandoor, grill, curry preparation, and other Indian kitchen techniques.
- Can work independently and handle a busy kitchen environment.
- Are reliable, flexible, and quality-conscious.
- Can follow hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Can communicate in English. Danish is an advantage, but not required.
